Matt, a Helensburgh local, is the chef and owner of ‘the Local on Walker’. With more than 30 years in hospitality, his passion is simple: bringing people together through good food and drinks, creating moments of happiness for our local community.
The Local is the venue Matt always envisioned — a relaxed yet refined space designed for people to come together. It’s a place to share good food, explore a variety of dining styles, and enjoy time with friends and family. His hope is that you experience all this and leave happy.
